A New Era

FLOATER’S BLOG: Ocean Date February 19th 2025

I was adrift off the shore at Playa Majagual this afternoon. This is one of the nice beaches just a little north of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua which has a very quaint appeal.

Whilst bobbing beyond the breakers with my bevy, I was looking back at the shore which by many scientific accounts may soon be flooded with rising ocean levels. What a shame for all the property owners who have created their own little paradise here.

Of course, the geography of this bay means there will still be a beach in this location, it will just keep moving inland at a gradual pace with successive owners at slightly higher elevations becoming the ones with ocean front property.

With this global future upon us in terms of this sphere's history and the somewhat significant increase in the popularity of the beer float; is it possible earth is at the leading edge of the Floataceous Period?
