Victor Chen from New York State writes…

"Corliss, your Beer float logo sucks, did you draw it with crayons? Or use Microsoft paint from 1975?

Victor”

Answer by Corliss Buenavida - Sept 4, 2025

Vic, if I can call you that, you are correct on both counts, so with the approval of the higher ups at beerfloat.calm, we are opening a contest to create a new better insignia.

Should you provide us with the winning entry, you won’t get anything in return except a big boost to your ego with the pride of knowing that your motif represents the image of beer floating, which at some point in the future when an alien race with far greater wisdom than ourselves is overseeing the peace on this semi-blue orb, will have made beerfloat an intergalactic mandatory activity for the well being of all kind!

Plus, your logo will take its rightful place on all future beerfloat.calm media and appear on each standard issue float for those who can’t afford to buy better marketed products from the remaining capitalists surviving in our new society.

Thanks for stirring the pot.

Ever responsive, Corliss

As Victor has pointed out, our logo is crap, so we are asking him or anyone else who cares or dares to come up with new branding for this, on the rise, world phenomena - beerfloat.calm.

If you know any graphic artists or any type of artist or a teacher who needs a project for their creative students then please send them a link to this page.

There are no losers here – except maybe whoever came up with the old logo – because everyone wins when you get creative. It’s all about positive energy and fun so get into your personal beerfloat mindset and envision an emblem for the enrichment of everyone!

We suggest you use Constantia font (or similar) which makes the words beer, float and calm appear in such a glorious manner but there are really no rules here except – DO IT - for the universe!

Send your entries to beerfloat@beerfloat.calm using the subject title logo.

Enter as often as you want until you see your logo appear on our return email; or you give up searching your inbox because we didn’t reply and the next time you look at our website you see someone else’s logo; or we actually do reply to you, just to say, STOP – ENOUGH ALREADY!

Good luck to all entrants!
